Welcome to Little Steps Creative Centre, where your child will enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Centre is located within Ecole Ile des Chenes but is not a part of the school division. The Centre is operated independently with a Board of Directors. Classes are offered every morning on Monday and Wednesday. A French Immersion class is offered every Thursday morning. Children may attend all classes or some, depending on availability.
Little Steps is a non-profit program, parents are required to volunteer to assist the teacher. The volunteer can be either a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or any other responsible adult. Background checks are to be completed by all volunteers.
Fundraising is another way the Centre is able to keep fees as low as possible. Parents are required to participate in a minimum of two fundraiser within the school year.
Little Steps Creative Centre provides an educational and nurturing environment for young children. The Nursery School program is designed for three and four year olds. Children attending must be 3 years old by December 31 and completely toilet trained.

Philosophy
Little Steps Creative Centre believes that each child is unique and with this comes the right for love, respect and freedom. Children will be encouraged to express their feelings and ideas in a safe, quality environment. Children will be taught the importance of respecting their peers as well as the property of Little Steps Creative Centre.
We believe that creating a positive and stimulating environment allows children to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
